about a year ago i was officially diagnosed with severe depression and bi polar disorder. i’ve spent two months of my life in mental hospitals and i’ve been cutting my wrist since 8th grade. i’ve attempted suicide several times, but have never succeeded. suicide is always on my mind and i always have urges to cut, but i wish i could stop, i have no meaning to. im not doing this for attention, i just want to see that people care.

Might be because your layer is set to screen. It washes out the layer underneath it. Try using the normal mode and manually erasing!

Any GIMP/Photoshop experts out there?
I’m trying to figure out how to overlay pictures. (I’m using GIMP)
I took several pictures, not moving the camera, but only moving the subjects.
On GIMP, I made a new layer, set it to screen, pasted it over the picture, and anchored it in. But when I do that, the picture becomes brighter, like the contrast went down, and both subjects in the pictures become a little transparent.
The more layers I add the more transparent the pictures before them become.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Be praying for this sweet girl. She’s in critical condition and on a ventilator, just out of brain surgery. She was shot in the back of the head earlier today by a stray bullet. The doctors are saying there is no medical hope, but we know our hope is in something much greater. I love this girl so much, and many others love her even more. I know that more than anything she desires for God to be glorified. I know He will be. (Taken with instagram)
